Here's my 1/72 Bulldog in Spanish Republican colours. It's nearly there but not 100% finished. This was going to a wargaming piece but I lost my mind somewhere along the way and added way too much detail.

Tim, the rigging is made from thin copper wire straightened by rolling it under a metal ruler. I have a good selection of copper wire that I bust out of old electrican equipment.

The prop is painted with Vallejo acrylics, a sandy base followed by slopping over a reddy-brown. Then I streak over a a thin dry brush soaking up portions of the red brown while it's still wet. After that I might touch it up a bit and darken some of the red brown with thin lines.
