Its has been awhile since I ran a F&I game and all the Fall foliage put me in the mood for a game
Scenario was a basic Canadian raid on NY frontier farmsteads.
We had several first time SP players for a multi-agenda game.

I feel that the table is not up to my usual standards, but had to hurry the setup to get the game started, explained, and picked up.
We still had a good time, burned a farmstead, had an unexpected explosion, and lost some veteran characters.

Actually no, IronDuke. The guys got there early and it became obvious that these were gents were of the "terrain just gets in the way"(I know, kinda of like it did for the European trained officers) persuasion. So I went easy (mostly nonexistent)on the ground debris. I just don't think everything blended in that well.
Thanks for the comment, though.

Excellent landscaping my friend. Lovely. Very 'Freeman's Farmy'.

Great terrain. What rules were you using. Also what manufacturer were your trees. I am about to buy some more with fall/winter effects. I like the ones you have on the table.

The best way to view the pics is to double click on the first one and then hit the right arrow icon. There are descriptions for every picture. I even have the briefing notes for every player on the descriptions.
I use TFL's Sharp Practice for my skirmish games. They have a nice supplement for F&I called la Longue Carbine that was in one of the specials.
My trees come from several sources and some that are put together with miscellaneous bits. Woodland scenics are good and cheap and easy to put together.
