Several of us gathered in the Suffolk countryside earlier this week to re-fifth the Battle of Pydna. This battle was probably the ultimate clash of legion against phalanx and the game will feature as part of a Wargames Illustrated themed issued on legion v phalanx coming out in the spring.

Huh…I don't get why this was posted to ACW Gallery? ACW is near Ancients in the drop-down crosspost menu. I know, I've done the same thing myself! On topic, always great to see Pydna on the gaming table. Good job! |

I haven't seen those pike-man in a long,long time. Seems I spent more time straightening the pikes, then gaming! Very nice looking unit. |
