Several of us gathered in the Suffolk countryside earlier this week to re-fifth the Battle of Pydna. This battle was probably the ultimate clash of legion against phalanx and the game will feature as part of a Wargames Illustrated themed issued on legion v phalanx coming out in the spring.

I haven't seen those pike-man in a long,long time. Seems I spent more time straightening the pikes, then gaming! Very nice looking unit.
