A small skirmish between Brits and Italians. Italians on a bombing mission against a harbour with Hurricanes defending.

The game really tells a story! You would think 24mgs vs 4 (50 cals)mgs and the pilot skills would really tip the British way.

That is a really handsome game, and the planes look great! And I really like your smoke and clouds.

Thank you. The clouds are made from pillow stuffing I bought in a store that sells quilting material. "Explosions" are the same material spray painted black and shaped into round balls.

Models are from Heroics and Ros. The Brits should have won easier as they had more fighters and slightly better pilots but luck is a fickle thing. The Italians had a few lucky rolls and the Brits rolled quite bad. But that is wargaming :) it was a very enjoyable game, tense until the end.

It ended as a decisive british victory but not until the absolute end. If the Italians had managed just a hit or two on the harbour it would have been at least a draw. In the dogfight the italian had some lucky dicerolls and the Brits did not. In the bombing run against the target it was the other way around, no luck for the Italian and a few lucky rolls for thr Brit.

I really like the CY6 rules.

I have a lot of Heroics as well, both WWI and II. I am just starting the desert war so it is nice to see some of the planes I will need.

Sounds like a great game, nice paint jobs.
