Does anyone know if anyone manufactures one of these? |

Sadly, and unbelievably, it looks like no one does. I googled the hell out of this and came up with nothing. I am really surprised Heroics and Ros donīt offer it. Perhaps you can petition Andy to make one. |

I'd buy a squadron of them. I love ricky-ticky 1930s airplanes. Putt-putt-putt-putt across the sky. |

Me too zippy, Iīve got a good collection of B-10s, P-26s, and so on. Great stuff! |

I'll give Andy a shout. I could find none and just wondered if there was perjaps a manufacturer that maybe I was unaware of that made one. I love all the early war stuff. Especially in the Pacific. I'll also Email Dave Winfree over at I-94. Maybe we will get a Raiden one. |

Here is the response that I received from Andy when I asked if there was a chance that they would produce one: Hi Tom A chance yes but why this one? Just had a quick look and it didn't seem to have much active service. Would need some good drawing maybe a project for a new sculptor we are hoping to train up. I responded with pictures and the general characteristics of the aircraft. I referred him to TMP. I would suggest that anyone else interested in seeing this model produced shoot him an Email at: sales@heroicsandros.co.uk

Another response from Andy: Hi Tom I know TMP but is so big it's hard to find things some time. New we have moved w eare hoping to get more new models out but people also want figures and its the 100th anniversary of the start of WW1 so we are doing some bits for that too. But we haven't don any aircraft lately so we will doe something, just what is the question ;-)). I strongly suggest that interested people email him! |

There is now a B-18 being produced at Shapeways. Both the B-18 & B-18A. link |

Dang. They look good. I'm trying to order three B-18As, but I'm getting an error when I hit the BUY IT button that I just can't get past. I've emailed the vendor, asked him to fight this out with tech support. The error is: Webpage error details User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0; .NET4.0C; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152) Timestamp: Sat, 22 Feb 2014 00:40:41 UTC Message: Script error Line: 0 Char: 0 Code: 0 URI: link

It looks like the website, not my browser. Please, may I buy a clue? |

I was able to order the B-18A no problem. I found them by searching for 1/285 scale. Maybe try to find them that way, or search B-18A? |

Now that I've had more time to think about it Zippyfusenet. The first time I tried to order off of Shapeways, I had the same problem when trying to go through a link. Search the item and you should be fine. |

I had to install a new browser, but I got my Bolos. They're made of the slightly grainy finished plastic. They show reasonable surface detail: ailerons, elevators, rudder and canopy frames. Shape is good. I bought in-flight versions with landing gear retracted and no propellor blades. The models cost a little more than $10 USD each. That's kind of high, but comparable to metal planes. The B-18 is a big airplane, as big as a B-17, although with only 2 engines. I'm pleased with mine, and I recommend them. |
