A little more progress with my Burgundian army of Charles the Bold – my fourth men at arms company completed (albiet a Company pennon needs to be added).
All of these are Perry Minis plastic figures, with some enhancements done with adding the plumes and St Andrew crosses (as required by Charles military Ordinances).

Inspiring work, as always! By the way, those shiny black bases are interesting – how did you make them, or where did you source them?

Stunning work, very inspirational.

Beautiful work Simon! I bookmarked your blog some time ago as a reference for painting my Burgundians. You are a great inspiration.

>those shiny black bases are interesting

I am not sure wether these are his bases, but I got mine who look pretty identical here:

These look like the 6*8 cm bases.

The come with an adhesive protection and are very shiny for a short while after you remove it, but will grow duller within the next hours – which is usually not a problem as they are usually terraformed and painted.

Thanks for the commnets.

Puster and Skeptic,
Yes the bases are those from Magister Militum – and are indeed 60x80mm. They just need the surface 'roughing up' with anything sharp, to get some grip for the glue before attaching figure bases.

Seleucus
I had enough cast up for my planned use, with a few extras. I'm afraid that all those extras have gone to others now. However, drop me a mail, and if I get some more done, I'll let you know.
Simon.
