40mm is a great SIZE, as for what SCALE it is that is another question entirly. 40m is 1.57 inches so in the old way of doing it 72"=1.57" gives you??? 1/45th..my maths isn't that good |

40 mm feet to eyes, so the 40mm (1.57"), probably equates to about 68"? That would make it about 1/43 scale. I suspect it's pretty well the same scale that railway modellers call "O gauge" |

Nice detail bit a little over animated for my taste. Sorry. |

I consider the 40mm size as a scale within 1/40-1/43. An average height of northern men in medieval age should be about 175cm, whilst the figures are about 42mm if measured from feet to the head top. So i would say this Anglo Saxon range is a 1/41 scale. Green Tiger, I did them animated because close to engage enemies advancing. Regards. |

the same scale that railway modellers call "O gauge" Gauges are the distance between track, the scale of a model train gauge depends on the gauge of the full sized track it represents. 'O' is generally associated with 1/43.5 in the UK but in the U.S. is usually associated with 1/48. |
