A friend mentioned this. Duel Fighters is 75mm fantasy figures battling one on one with "cinematic action." link I am all in favor of the "action" and detail so the 75mm scale is not a big obstacle to purchase. Unfortunately, the poses are. Most of the artwork shows the fighters charging into combat, brandishing weapons threateningly. The 3D poses, however, show the figures waiting for a bus (not pictured), standing in line at the chow hall, and deciding which pair of shoes to buy. Can someone enlighten me as to why a game which focuses on only 2 miniatures in a fight, and promises cinematic combat, would choose such static poses? |

In fairness, two of the 6 poses shown actually look like they are going to fight someone. Leaving only 4 who look like they are standing around. |

Speaking from personal experience as a fantasy gladiator, I find that the arms-crossed and looking indignant style of fighting is highly underrated. |

If the rules are any good, then just use them with Papo or Schleich figures. Some of which, the fantasy animal men in particular, are amazing sculpts. And way cheaper. |
