Here is my first attempt at a terrain board for my 6 mm fantasy stuff. It's all detailed on my blog. Designed as a testing ground and for the dread elves, woodland realm, vikings. The buildings and accessories aree all irregular. Everything else is my on take. It's a first of four or four boards I plan – next up Aztec swamp,Hephaistos volcano land, desert and possibly terrain for an as yet unmade army.

Beautiful work there! This is what I always come back to in my head as a proper gaming table. Quick question though – what is the rainbow thing? |

The rainbow thing is a sneaker element for my Dread Elf army. I was painting them and saw a rainbow outside last year – hence the sneakers as rainbow troops. The idea is that the enemy get confused by the raibow and the other sneakers, so that the real sneaky sneaker gets through.

Why is there a tree in the middle of the bridge? |
arcaopino | 08 Dec 2013 11:21 a.m. PST |
the tree is attached to the base – a trademark for the dread elves. It moves with the base. Well, it being fantasy, that's not so silly an idea. Burnham wood etc

The rainbow thing is a sneaker element for my Dread Elf army. I thought they were in favor of gay marriage. |

Praetorian, elves are very broad-minded. |
