Designer mpennock has made ten of his wonderful airplane models available in 1/288 scale. You'll find pictures at link They include several designs used in the Gran Chaco War, along with models useful to aircraft collectors. The latter include the Breguet 19A2, Curtiss F8C Helldiver, Fiat CR20, and Junkers K43 (easily convertible to a Luftwaffe K34). The models are in frosted ultra-detail (FUD) material, which means they're brittle, beautiful, and relatively expensive. If you're interested in aircraft of the 'thirties, check them out. It's hard to imagine better models in this scale. |
