I finally finished some Scottish archers. Alot of work to do in the house,etc,.. so I'm happy I'm back painting 28mm's.

.if a bit depressing for the woefully untalented such as myself. Scottish medieval houses
you really want cruck-built jobs, though stone houses were more common in the far north and west. |

Just in case you did n't know, the term 'schiltrom' does not imply any particular shape, just a body of close-combat troops – generally spearmen of course and almost always a line rather than a column; there are only two examples of circles – one being the army at Falkirk and the other being a portion of Moray's command on the first day of Bannockburn. |

I've got quite a few and I'll be getting more – spearmen and archers are perfect for our 1314 project – but I hope to avoid painting any..it would be cruel to the figures. |
