Does Hinterland sell a figure called Princess Tatjana (the name isn't really important) with crossed arms and wearing a czapka style helmet? They show a picture of a figure that looks like that in their Gallery section but it is not listed among the items they sell. I would appreciate some help understanding this. Thank you. Richard

I think she may have been a limited release figure.

Matt, I do believe you would be the man who knows since I'm pretty sure the figure I saw was painted by you. Beautiful job. Do you know why it was a limited release? Richard

I haven't painted her yet, you may have seen Mancha's (Jason, Hinterland owner), which was pretty nice.

On LAF he mentioned only having fifty of them, but might cast more up in the future for conventions. They were given out with orders over $50. USD You might try contacting him directly, he might have an extra left over and pulled her off the store so he didn't oversell. Worth a try.

For the record I'm not a fan of limited releases but they do often get me to bite.

Matt, thank you for the advice. I'll give it a try. And thanks for the nice feedback (on another site) about my Victorian Gallery; much appreciated. Richard

I thought I might have an extra. I just went through my Hinterland backlog and I can't even find the one I knew I had. I'll keep looking.

Too many unpainted figures :(

Your Victoriana project is gorgeous through and through. I can't tell you how much I like that backdrop of buildings, it really pulls off that diffused fog hanging over a large city.

Matt, "Too many unpainted figures" may be the words engraved on a lot of headstones. I really appreciate your guidance in this. My daughter is responsible for the backdrop of buildings. I asked her if she would do a quick silhouette master which I then traced on pieces of black paper and cut out. I asked her to do it rather than doing it myself because I wanted it to be kept simple and I knew I would over do it. She's also my photographer and she was the one who played with the camera focus to give the fog look you see in some of the pictures. If we knew in advance how good it would look we probably would have done more. We try to limit the use of Photoshop to just hiding the seams in the background murals although I asked her to hide the poles for the sun, moon and chopper this time as well. We did leave the chopper base in so people could see what was done, but I wanted to see the chopper fly; the kid in me showing. Thanks again. Richard
