Very very good. From my recent work in dyers and weavers archives I know yellow dye was used a good bit local to me (the South Eastern edge of the Highlands). Not usually actual saffron (expensive but the best). But a cheaper local dye. The final products seam to be referred to as saffron just the same. Great work x42 |
