I had a good solo game of Bibracte last night using Lost Battles.

It went along historical lines except for the very end, with a rapid Gallic advance, stoic Roman defense on the hillside and eventual Gallic collapse being the key features.

Good to see your Gauls on the tabel, Aaron. They performed well on their first outing!

Thanks gents! Yes, they didn't do too badly, all things considered :)

Great fun. Well presented.

I echo the previous comments. Well done, indeed.

May very well add this to my ever-growing list of historical battles to stage.

Might even consider a solo battle day, wherein the action is re-fought with multiple sets of rules.

Thanks for posting. Look forward to seeing/reading more about adventures with your newly painted Gauls.

Thanks Glen and Chris. There's always a warm glow when a new army hits the table and a new scenario can be played!
