I am looking for some good monsters.
Help me fill in the blanks! Take a group of three and add the descriptor and race. Feel free to theme it however you want.

For fun I will draw a random monster from the list and replace my pew cat pic with it!

I chose a Wet theme for the first three but feel free to choose your own direction for the next three

1.Gelatinous
2.Bloated
3.Puddle

1. Sprite
2. Albatross
3. Kraken

Keep adding to the list!
DZT

Coelacanth03 Dec 2013 7:51 p.m. PST

Pelagic

Kelpie

(These don't really go together, but…)

Ron

P.S. I hope that you can get this up to at least a d20 laugh

Coelacanth03 Dec 2013 8:28 p.m. PST

I think DZT wants one descriptive word, like:

Rain

…and one named creature, such as:

Shambler

MHoxie04 Dec 2013 3:02 a.m. PST

Monocular

Monoceratic

Volitant

Violaceous

Anthropophage

Dropzonetoe Fezian04 Dec 2013 3:11 a.m. PST

Correct,

Right now I am short 1 for a d6 chart

Roll Once d5
1.Gelatinous
2.Bloated
3.Puddle
4.Pelagic
5.Rain

Roll Once d5
1. Sprite
2. Albatross
3. Kraken
4. Kelpie
5. Shambler

So if you roll a 3 and a 5 you will have a "Puddle Shambler"
Now to figure out what that means :)

Also I may have skewed the answers a bit with the theme I chose. That was merely my slant I was hoping others would take their own such as Shadows, Fire, mechanical, Magical, Colors, Sizes, Elementals, undead etc.

I hope to make it to a D20 too! Thanks for the help sofar

Still wanting to do some real artwork I have pulled a few more to see some real options,

16. Parasitic 9. Dugong

Morpeel hated the swamp, hated the mission, hated the mercenary band he had joined. He tried to console himself that this was better than breaking his back on the family farm, but as he stumbled over one more underwater root he felt that perhaps he might be wrong. Suddenly there was splash and Morpeel felt pain like he had never known before.

Morpeel slowly awoke, he felt like he was being pushed into the ground by a massive weight. Struggling against his splitting headache he reached behind and felt a large blubbery mass on his back. Struggling in panic and fear he attempted to throw the weight off but a sudden pain in his neck forced him to stop. As he relaxed he began to feel hungry. Dragging himself through the shallow water he began to eat the local plants and when he finally felt full he could sense the weight on his back shift. Struggling for some time Morpeel finally got to his feet the burden weighing him down immensely. Just of the effort to stand began to make him hungry again and the pain in his head started again.
