I have the Eureka figures and they are nice and appear to work with my Pirazzo figures. Something else to consider are the Gamezone "Imperial" range, which is straight up morions and puffy sleeves, and are also a match for Eureka and Pirazzo.

The Eureka Conquistadors fit in quite well with the foundry figures. Thats their Spanish one mind you the Portuguese are Mid 16th century onwards hence the Morions.

I have used these with my Portuguese. There are some more armoured ones amongst the range but think you have to buy form them to get individual figures rather than packs (may be worht an e-mail)

Gringo Miniatures has a small but expanding range of Conquistadors.

Now you will liklely start a bit of comment on types of helmets worn as certain times :) the Morion would not have really been around though it would only cause some frustration for those who would worry about that type of think.

Another source ar ethe foundry swash bucklers they have some nice musket men and pikemen who would fit well, many in the shorter trousers would make a good naval contingent I have used all for my portuguese

As the above gent said Gamezone have some generic types who would work and I beleive that Warlord have picked up a renaisance spanish range which would
include pikemen and arqubusiers

I have attached photos of what was a game I and Neil Burt his was the wonderful modelleing for the terrain and the Tlaxcalans and beauties. I provided the conquistadors and some of the Aztecs, sadly all sold off to pay my Divorce Solicitor …lol however within the Conquistadors there are a mix of Foundry and Eureka

Just a note of caution and another line to explosre

Pirazzo range are quite small, smaller than other ranges almost 25mm. What I had forgot was the old Perry Elizabethan range they may have something useful for your army

Perhaps you want to take a look at TAGs line of Early Tudor infantry? Many of these will not look out of line in a Conquistador army and make acceptable Spanish.

Warlord Games recently bought the production rights to the Arsenal Spanish. No idea how long the take to release them, but once they do they will be perfect for mid to late 16th century Spanish. Here is the original site:

Gamezone also has a line of Spaniard-likes of which some may make perfect "Pizarros".

Certainly worth a look are the Old Glory French Wars fo religion, they are a little more crude sculpting wise but fit in quite well with Foundry and certainly have a huge selection. They include Full and part armoured pike, fire arms, crossbows and there is a nice pack of desperadoes or swashbucklers with mixed weapons. The horse chaps are a bit hit or miss however. Horse are a little bit underweight and some of the castings lose a bit of definition but the infantry are quite good. Only issue is the packs are 30 figures if you are after smaller or only a few units.

I agree on the helmets. I have sold off my Spanish conquistadors but kept the later looking ones for my Portuguese army. Here I have mixed Foudnry swashbucklers with the Eureka ones.

I am using the foundry swashbucklers for french to give them a more european look rather than the rag tag Portuguese.
