On my blog link How have others found the rules? |

I agree that the campaign part is really, really well handled
Your army will never be destroyed or reduced to ineffective, but it certain does change as time goes on, and your tactics have to change with it. I think I enjoy drawing campaign cards I see how my force will change more than anything! |

Love them. They are my latest favorite. |

Yes I enjoy them. Whilst I am a Blackpowder addict for large weekend games, Longstreet is great for fun and exciting evening games. Although I didn't go down the rebasing route, thankfully

My current fav set of rules. Just wish he did this for napoleonics. Fast playing and really like the card based system. |

Hi I love 'Maurice' (Sam's Age of Reason rules in the 'Honour' series). I like 'Lasalle' a lot though I understand quite a few don't. I've not been able to get a game of 'Longstreet' in yet, but I will in the next couple of weeks and I've read through the rules and they look excellent. Actually I like ALL of Sam's rules and Grande Armee, Might and Reason are also excellent. I'm keen to see what he does with 'Blucher' once it's released. |

Having played a couple of games of Longstreet I cocnur that it is a very good rules set. Even an 1861 game when things are heavily biased in favour of the Rebels, was very close and very enjoyable. The campaign system is great; almost more fun than the battles. |
