I have a few of these given to me years ago from an auction. I do not know the manufacture. There are no markings on the box. To me it looks like a Prussian or French trooper from the Crimean. But not sure. Looking to identify so I can sell. Thanks for any help. link |

Don't know if I can help much but saw something like these in a antique shop. Are they "plastic" and if so could be German manufactured in the 1920-30's. I saw two sets one British Guards and another a fantastic group of German artillery with radio, officers, pieces, phone line layers ect. |

They feel like metal. I just never saw these before. Also have one that is a Roger's Ranger of all things. Not Britains for sure. |

It looks like it has a mat finish. I thought that most old toy soldiers from the early 1900s were glossy. Nothing on the bottom of the base? It could be a soldier cast from a prince Augustine self poor lead mold. |

link Chasseur a pied from 1848 onwards
Take a look at the base
Normaly they have 2-4 letters for the factory code. Greetings |
