To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who, I played some HOTT with my 15mm UNIT and Dalek armies. link |

I'm fairly certain those were custom sculpted Daleks, not for sale anywhere. (I read I once and now I get a new pang of Jealousy every time I see them

really great presentation, thanks for showing that. Why did the Land Rover attack the special weapons unit. It was safe from being shot at as an overlap or but then it charged forward, took an overlap and was fighting at a 2 to 4? |

"Were did you get the figures from?" UNIT is entirely Peter Pig (aside from the scratchbuilt Tardis). The Master and the human mercenaries are from Tabletop Miniatures. And the Daleks are, as someone else has already said, custom sculpts from a friend I used to wargame with*. "Why did the Land Rover attack the special weapons unit. It was safe from being shot at as an overlap or but then it charged forward, took an overlap and was fighting at a 2 to 4?" Because I needed to remove the Artillery as quickly as possible; that flank was bogging down, and UNIT was losing troopers to the Dalek advance in the centre. Using the Land-Rover, even at those odds, was safer than risking The Brigadier. * I have a custom 15mm Davros he made for me sat on my desk as I type – a parting gift when I left the club and emigrated to Australia. |
