And so, here the Author conveys all the other stuff pertaining to FALL-IN 2013 unrelated to running two games at it, e.g., the vendors hall, what he did here and there, what he saw and did..

Thanks for posting, Walt! Looks like a different con, yet a wonderful con!

Uncle Walt;
It's always great to see you and I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to you more.

My attending was at the last minute and I'm really glad all I had to do was shop, play, gab, and eat.

And make fun of Scott…

See you at Cold Wars!

Scott nobly did everything in the book and outside of it, to get the kid across from him to win BIG DANGED BOATS instead of him. Sadly, he did too well as the Cultists of F'vah and won anyway.

BTW, the fellow in the red velvet leisure suit with the white fur trim is yours truly, assisting Santa Moe with the Toys for Tots raffle/auction.
Some very nice fellow gave a very perspiring St.Nick a bottle of Sam Adams' Old Fezziwhig; that guy went right to the top of the "Nice" list!!!

Now, I wish I could say I was in a drunken stupor like the Mayor of Toronto, but I thought I actually heard you describe yourself as Santa Moe. If not, my bad!

capncarp20 Nov 2013 8:18 p.m. PST

Nope, Santa Moe gets the credit for wrangling all the Raffle and auctions stuff. I was just the humble sweaty messenger!

Red velvet is a good look for you. :-D

Well said….
I have a pile of fixes for next year, but will say… there were not 3 events scheduled for one table, lol! Someone moved their event of couldn't read the numbers.

Will be fixed next year.

@capncarp – Glad you liked the beer. I saw you roaming the floor and thought "Hey Santa needs a gift for once". I'm glad the auction and collection went well for Moe and the team.
Thanks again to Walt for running a fun game, even if the kids didn't win, I enjoyed gaming with his son for the short while he was the "Big Cheese", and was glad that everyone got to put the hurt on each other. See you at Cold Wars Walt.

Scott…

Most likely could not read numbers, make the numbers MUCH bigger in the guidebook next year. I could not read them even with my reading glasses. (The ones on the door of the Dist were a life saver)

You guys did get dumped on enough, thanks for your hard work – I had a great time.

I'm chopping up the Distelfink map into distelfink North and distelfink South in Guidebook next time in order to make table numbers more readable.

Walt
