Over at the Dogs of War we recently did a miniatures reenactment of the Battle of Granicus. We're doing a whole series on Alexander the Great, so the next two will be coming out sometime soon on Command Combat Battle Reports.

Nice one! What figures do you use for the mercenary hoplites in Persian service at 2.10 by the way? Are they Black Hat?

Cheers,
Aaron

Thanks guys! Aaron – I'm not sure. I'll have to ask the guys at the Dogs of War. If any of them see this post, can you please answer that?

No worries, CC. I ordered some, so I'll be able to check that myself when they arrive :)

Cheers,
Aaron

Very cool. They look like 15s, who is the manufacturer?

There're some Essex and Blackhat/Gladiator figures in a few shots but I cannot tell what the Persian are.

I really like the idea. Any chance you could put together a greater mass of figures on a larger table? I think the visual effect of recounting the battle with military figurines would have more impact if there was a mass of figures on the table top.
