About a week ago our group at The Dogs of War did a game of the new Flames of War game based on the Israeli war entitled Fate of a Nation. It's showing now on my channel Command Combat Battle Reports:

Happy gaming everybody!

Well, I appreciate the video, but it seemed a lot more like Warhammer. Line 'em up and blast away and see who's dice are hot and who's are not.

We are talking about the 1967 Six-day War. It was NOT anything remotely resembling a fair fight on any front. Not the Egyptian front, not the Syrian Front, and not even on the Jordanian front, though that one was unequal the other direction (Israelis horribly outgunned).

I think I'm most interested in playing the Jordanian front. As an Israeli commander!

Fun video thanks

The video was rather well made but the game system seems to be deeply flawed; if it is meant to represent modern warfare in any meaningful way, it completely fails to do so.
