The Battle of Auldearn fought using Perry and Eureka figures at MillenniumCon 16. Carnage & Glory II ECW rules were used, and worked very well. This marked the third time the historical scenario has been played and each time the results have closely mirrored the historical results (except the time Montrose was thrown from his horse and captured). C&GII cannot be recommended enough for this battle. Hurry deploys the Covenanter army with only MacColla's small force there to delay him.

An excellent table and figures. They are painted so well. This looks like a terrific game you played. Nice photographs show off the fine Perry and Eureka figures. Well done. EDIT: Just noticed your other photos on your blog – fabulous. I like very much your Crusader and Muslim armies. Well done. |

Looks to be a bit of friction there amongst members of Gordon's Horse. |

Good eye. I don't think that guy wanted to charge. Needed some encouragement. In one game Hurry was performing very poorly and C&G noted he'd left the field to dress and wound likely caused by his own men. C&G really makes a good game, particularly with a small scenario like this. |

Hi Duke looks like a great game – was almost up in Austin last week – would have been a nice surprise to have seen this! All the best Roy (Project Auldearn) |

Nicely done Duke. Enjoyed the write up on your blog too. Have been in Austin a lot recently but missed Millenium Con – would also have enjoyed seeing this game. Cheers Walter (the other half of Project Auldearn) |

Inspired all round: terrain, figures, flags. |

My main weakness is always lack of originality. Project Auldearn is 100% responsible for my game turning out well. Next up is Barons War, which you guessed it is inspired by Project Lewes. |
