Use any modern US troops there is no difference. In the Marine Corps the only thing different was the bag the engineers carried that contained their C-4. |

It shouldn't be too hard to kitbash some infantry figs into engineers. Bangalores would just need small lengths of rod added to an empty hand. Demo bags could be sculpted on using green stuff. A little more challenging would be a mine detector, specifically find a fig in the right pose to wield one (the detector itself would be pretty simple to make using styrene rod and a small square of card). If you could find a kneeling pose, then you could add a plasticard mine or cratering charge to the base to show the guy is a sapper. I think if anything, the sappers you'd have the hardest time kitbashing would be the grappling hook guy and the guy lying prone with a mine probe. Those would be pretty specialized poses that you normally don't find in most infantry ranges. |
