Hi all! We have a fun little battle report for you. We used Two Dragons 15mm vikings and Howard Whitehouse's recent Battle Troll Rules. Enjoy!

Thanks for sharing. I had these when they were free and unfortunately I deleted them. I may pick them up someday although I'm happy with Strandhogg but another rule set couldn't hurt.

I love how Howard's rules bring the narrative into play!

Thanks for the kind words, Chris!

Those who owned and deleted (or set fire to, or lost in a drunken bet) earlier versions of "Battle-Troll" will find that in the new, much expanded version there's a lot of campaign and character development material by Californian Norseman Roderick Robertson, my partner in Pulp Action Library. You can take a brief look here:

Hey! I ain't Norse. My Scottish ancestry is Pictish, and I've got Welsh and (southern) English – nothing from the Danelaw. On my mother's side, it's Walloon and Greek/Turkish.

Nice report..been thinking about buying these

How do know if your ancestry is Picitsh I thought nobody knew anything about them, who they were etc?

Do the rules also come with the scenario book as well?

Lee Brilleaux Fezian06 Nov 2013 6:52 a.m. PST

The scenarios are included in the rules, yes.
