Beautiful game, nice AAR. BUT- why are so many AARs completely devoid of the two things we, as wargamers, need to know?
What was the scale?
What ruleset?

Nice, looks like 1:300,

Hello Marek
Cold War Commander : the ruleset is indicated with the labels
GHQ models, 1/285th, 6mm I think
One unit for 3 tanks or one section…
Thank's

I recognize the buildings. I have the same ones. Timecast 6mm. I like his blast marker near the bottom of the page

I don't think it's 1/300th looks more like 10/12 mm to me.

The post is clearly marked as Cold War Commander and just looking at the pictures should tell yoU that the models are 6mm. Look at the scale versus the bunches of lichen for instance. Now while I'm not sure about the vehicles the infantry are H&R/Navwar. To be honest I'm 90% sure most of the vehicles are as well.

Who has played the WACA/AWAC scenario the post opens with many times with many rule sets over the last 25 years or so.

6mm, those are H&R WarPac infantry.

Very nice. Love the book and have been wanting to do a RSR battle but never did get around to it. But reading the AAR…hell yeah!
How long did it take to get it all set up?
Did you also do 1:1 scale (1 tanks= 1 tank)?

Thanks,

Doug
