Here are some renders of what you'll be able to build with our upcoming M48 kit -- pieces for all these variants will be included:

M48A3

Mag'ach 3 (Israeli variant with 105mm gun, Sherman cupola and armoured air filter boxes)

M48A5 (with 105mm gun and Urdan-like cupola)

So you get both guns, a turret cupola, a Sherman cupola and an Urdan cupola, and both armoured and unarmoured air filter boxes.

The Mag'ach 3 used either the Sherman or the Urdan cupola in 1973.

Stay tuned for more details on this kit!

I'm assuming the search light will be seperate? Any chance of throwing in a xenon searchlight for the -A5 variant, for those that want it? :)

Damon.

There's no "throwing in" in this hobby! grin Everything costs something. The design is with the printer and being made this week.

Can someone enlighten (pun intended) the noob?

What's the visible difference between the M48A5's Xenon searchlight compared to the IR searchlight on the A3s?

You'd probably have better luck with Old Glory, since they already have the M48 released, with 90mm gun.

Shouldn't be too difficult to add a 105mm instead, I suspect, plus a few minor conversions.

Would love to see the West German M48A2GA2, with 105mm myself.

What I really want is a nice, M60A1 model in this scale.

Chas is just working on M48 variations
