I have all manner of mdf and plasticard kicking around my flat, and so I was thinking trying to make some homemade casualty counters. Does anyone have experience of making a "spinner" for the top to rotate around? Cheers! |

I used a metal washer with a paper dial glued to it for the bottom. I then took a magnetic sheet and cut out a pie shaped section and glued the casualty figure onto the top of it. They work great. Sorry it does not address your question about plasticard exactly, but seems easier than coming up with a spinner for it. Allen |

Are you talking about something like a Clix base? |

Something like it, yes – or the ones Warbases and Peter Pig sell. @rampantlion: Allen, how do you keep the top centred and/or how do you tell which number is currently in use? |

The magnet is strong enough to hold it in place and the only number shown is the one that is in the open pie shaped cut out of the magnet. When the number needs to change simply spin it on the washer. I will try to take a couple of pictures and post tonight. |
