heads up this is the final days of the shadowsea kickstarter and you can pick up rulebooks for $10 USD each.
i have the Deepwars book and it is 160 pages of fantastic SoBH material. if you were ever interested in adding:

- weapons and technology rules (e.g. reach weapons, indirect fire, gunpowder weapons, ray guns etc)
- steampunk robots and tech
- underwater combat (probably the single best set of rules for underwater combat i have ever encountered)
- more magic and magic user types without complex spell lists
- more SRs (including SRs that help drive scenarios other than "kill them all")
- more attack options (crippling attacks etc)
- RPG like campaign advancement
- lots of environmental hazards and interaction (including wildlife, charge mechanics, and objectives that do things)
- always current errata (i got my Deepwars updated PDF this week)

I am *not* an official rep or anything, just a fan of SoBH that really likes the Shadowsea options in my SoBH games. the price is really good for a rule book, too. AMG makes really polished stuff and it is well worth the price tag for the juice it will add to your games e.g. warmachine, pirates, land-sea hybrid games, fun but not OP magic, and loads of SRs. as always, use what you love, ignore what you don't.
so, check it out:
