Hi, anyone know of anyone who supplies clear acrylic flight stands in the UK. Not the raised hexagonal ones. Looking for flat rectangular/hexagonal bases for 1/300 aircraft. Have tried what I can think of in the way of usual suspects from the salute trader list and I can find MDF no bother, but really would prefer acrylic. I know Litko could do them, but it's not economical to have them shipped from the States. The other option is to but the acrylic and make them myself. But if anyone makes them I'd rather go that route. Thanks Andy |

I use Games Workshop ones that are only available on-line from them. However, they have round bases but come with pegs of four different heights and two sizes of bases suitable for 1/300 fighters and 1/300 bombers. They call them either Flight Stands or Flying bases in their catalogue, can't recall exactly. They have slight depth to them but are still reasonably flat. I like them. |

I'd have to look up the name but we had a supplier order limited quantity of our stands in the UK. That was over 6 months ago and he was concentrating on 40mm bases and some WOW bases. They are Omni-Stands but if that works for you then let me know and I can check to see what he has left. |

I have stock of the circular based Mongoose flying stands – both 30mm and 50mm diameter. Although the bases are circular they are flat and not the raised dome you refer to. link There is an example of a 1/300th plane on a stand on the 'Details' page accessed from the link near the top of the page – scroll down to near the bottom of that page. I can do any number you need, just e-mail what you want and I'll quote you. |

Try Fenris Games, they do flat, acrylic, hexagonal bases in a number of sizes. |

cheers for all the info/suggestions guys. After a bit more searching I found that I could get the Litko bases I was after in the UK. I didn't think there was a stockist, there is. Cheers Richard. |
