We refought Klissow 1702 four times over two days as part of a series of games at our League of Augsburg Beneath the Lily Banner gaming weekender in Derby. 13 players and 3 umpire/organizers enjoyed some lovely games and clear cut results.

The mighty Swedes did not win Klissow once… oops (but they did come close… twice)
Some of the new Warfare GNW Swedes got blooded in the Klissow game. They are visible in one of the shots.

I can tell you that on the receiving end of the Swedish onslaught it did not feel like they were the underdogs! I gave them every opportunity to win game 1 however, when the best part of two brigades of Saxon infantry ran for the hills as the Swedes broke into their defensive lines, thanks to my shocking morale dice. It took some determined and very bloody cavalry acvtion on the flanks to turn around the impending disaster.

A really well balanced game, not easy with such numerically asymetric opposing forces.
