"Contacting Flag Dude" Topic

I've sent flag dude a couple of mails looking to place an order and haven't heard anything. Does anybody know if he is travelling and when he will be back?

Yeah, me too…I have sent three email order requests over three months and have not had an answer and I am a regular customer.

The Flag Dude site states that he is getting ready for Fall In, but I am not sure if that was for last years Fall In.

Maybe Rick has finally called it quits? Does anyone have any info on him?

I hope he didn't. He put out a superior product and I was getting ready to order more.

I cannot get a reply from Rick anymore. He lives in the town where I grew up and I used to hear from him regularly.

In August I was in town visiting my family and dropped him a line to see if he could meet me for a beer and proposed that I pick up my order from him. I did not get a reply for a month, and I had of course, already gone home by then. He did not reply to my flag order in the message, just said he was sorry to miss the invitation. I have long-since given up up on that order for Crimean War flags and got them from other sources. I did not want to do that, but I also cannot wait 3-6 months for a reply to my order. It is a shame really, as Rick is a nice guy and his flags were great.

I have been using Adolfo Ramos and GMB flags instead. They are a little more work, but the flags are great and so is the service.

Rick, if you read this message, perhaps you can let us all know what the status of Flag Dude will be in the future. Are you now selling at conventions only or have you decided not to do business anymore?

Received my flags today (ordered in August). Rick also said he plans to be at Fall In

I ordered 5 flags from Rick during the holidays. Responded to my emails and shipped immediately. Paid by paypal. No problems. He'll have all my flag business.

I got a stack of flags from rick this year . Late march early April. Lots of great late prussian napoleonic flags . Definitely do more business with him soon.
