Of possible interest?

"You are General Nicol commanding the British 10th Division. Your division was ordered north in conjunction with French troops into Serbia with the aim of joining up with retreating Serbian armies. However, with Bulgaria joining the Central Powers the Serbian retreat has been cut off and is diverting through Albania. The Entente Powers have therefore decided to withdraw back into Greece.

Your division is currently holding a defensive position at Kosturino a village which commands the only road pass through the mountains to the Vardar valley which is held by the French (on your left flank). Your right flank is open although given the height of the mountains is only passable by light troops. Your line of retreat diverts from this road near Tatarli through Dedeli and back to prepared defences on the Greek border at Lake Doiran. Communications with the French are patchy but if the Bulgars break through your line they will be able to cut off the retreating French army. You are therefore ordered to hold Kosturino until ordered to evacuate when you will have to engage in a fighting withdrawal back down your lines of communication to Doiran.

Intelligence reports that a German division and a Bulgar division stiffened by an Austrian mountain Regt. are massing for an assault. There are no gas shells available to either side…"
