The guys who ran Naval Thunder at Nav Con posted a great writeup of their Java Sea game with some great pictures of the action. Check it out here! link |

Thanks for the write up. My grandfather was the commander of the Dutch destroyer Hr. Ms. Kortenaer, which was sunk during the battle (he survived), so I take a strong personal interest. |

There was no US ship named John Paul Jones until 1967. It was in fact the Paul Jones. Also, Hagura is actually "Haguro" |

Great report thanks, I already have all the 1/300 ships painted to give this action a go. I may drag it out on 7th Nov when I have a game of Naval Thunder scheduled with a friend. |

"There was no US ship named John Paul Jones until 1967. It was in fact the Paul Jones. Also, Hagura is actually "Haguro" " Typos on my part
"Haguro" is just mispelled in one spot
I will correct both later when I get a chance. Thanks! |
