The guys who ran Naval Thunder at Nav Con posted a great writeup of their Java Sea game with some great pictures of the action.

Check it out here!

Thanks for the write up. My grandfather was the commander of the Dutch destroyer Hr. Ms. Kortenaer, which was sunk during the battle (he survived), so I take a strong personal interest.

There was no US ship named John Paul Jones until 1967. It was in fact the Paul Jones. Also, Hagura is actually "Haguro"

Great report thanks, I already have all the 1/300 ships painted to give this action a go.
I may drag it out on 7th Nov when I have a game of Naval Thunder scheduled with a friend.

"There was no US ship named John Paul Jones until 1967. It was in fact the Paul Jones. Also, Hagura is actually "Haguro" "

Typos on my part…"Haguro" is just mispelled in one spot…I will correct both later when I get a chance.

Thanks!
