I just picked up a dozen small rubber dragons from the dollar store. Now I am looking for rules suggestions for having some one-on-one up to maybe four or five a side fights between these dragons. Would like to have something with maybe wound levels or hit location. Don't really want to have a series of single hit kills. It would be cool if the dragons could damage each others wings or limbs, etc. I was thinking that maybe one of the "Giant Monster" gaming rules might be close to what I am looking for. But I have very limited budget so need guidance before I spend any money. Thanks for any suggestions. |

You can use Full Thrust for aerial battles, just adjust weapons, armor/hull/hit pts, and wings equal thrust. Just a thought. |

I seem to think that I once had a customer asking about flying stands for dragons
Not sure what he was using. You might be better adapting a WWI flying game. Canvas Eagles might be easy to Mod. Pick some stats for the guns and make up a stat sheet with a dragon on it and add boxes for the wings and body. Modify the crits a bit and you might have a fun little game. |

Ken Burnside's been working on rules for a while. |

Mighty Monsters would let you try out the different color/power dragon variants against each other. |

Grenadier had a game for aerial dragon fights, cannot remember the name off hand. I never played it, so I am not sure if it meets your criteria, but it might be worth a look. Phil |
