A few months ago I bought 5 Eldar Jetbikes from a seller on Ebay based on Jes Goodwin's prototype as displayed at Games Day 2007 but never released by Games Workshop:
Here is the unassembled resin model:
With a simple head-swap with a GW Eldar Guardian, here's the assembled model:
The whole jetbike squadron (the white one's a replacement from the vendor because the handlebars on one of them broke off):
Pretty good likeness, wouldn't you say? The only 'major' difference is that Jes's rider's arms are bent at a greater angle, giving his rider more of a lean into the bike. |

Very alike, and a nice improvement over the "chopper" riding style of current jetbikes, although the latter looks fine too. A shame they didn't get released. Is it possible to know anything about the vendor? I happen to be in need of a few more jetbikes

For those interested, here's the link to the ongoing auction. The mini was displayed on CMON and at $12 USD apiece the price is reasonable too. auction |

These are the same cats that were (are?) selling the cool Space Wolf giant wolf mounts. They were very nice models. And so are these! Thanks for sharing. |
