other pitfals
the musket sling of the old prussian musket is running over the trigger guard and fixed on the butt.
Kürassier Regiment Heissing had white and not blue saddle cloth – also Wagenfeld had white saddle cloth and no black, garde du corps had red with white lace and a thin blue stripe in between and a Guard Star crowned by a crown
Gendarmes had a dark blue saddle cloth with Guard star and crown
so one has to be carefull

a very good effort, but with alas some pitfalls.
For a very good guide on saddle clothes go for Hourtoulle (avoid the plates by Jouineau but see the photos from the excellent work of Kling) pages 16 and 17 (French edition)
Also for Towarczys the source shows the battalion Towarczys and not the regiment – which had a different uniform (mainly saddle cloth)
I will do in due course a photo which shows the saddle cloth of Garde du Corps as worn on campaign in 1806
