What color were Quanset Huts during the Vietnam War? Were they basic metal, OD green or camo? or any and all three paint types? |

Interesting question – were they shipped into Vietnam painted, or in the bright (and painted locally)? If the latter, then those in rear areas might still be unpainted. Doug |

I'm not all that sure about the painting. I did a google image search and the color pictures show them in unpainted metal. |

Most were left bare metal, some painted in OD or in Camo. The camo ones I had seen looked most like the way the USAF painted aircraft at the time. |

So quick question. I'm assuming that Vietnam era huts are not much different physically then WWII era right? I didn't think to check when I designed my laser cut ones and now I'm curious. I still need to finish the design of the larger hanger type on and before I get into it I figured I'd ask. |

The ones I saw in CONUS were generally bare metal. Those overseas were OD |
