All,
Having gotten hooked on the BBCs "Copper" series set in Civil War era New York, I would like to find a suitable figure to represent "Corky" to lead my NYPD company for IHMN. He would need to be a larger 28mm figure, essentially 28 – 29mm sole to eye. Any suggestions? In case you are not familiar, here is a link to what the character looks like -

I think I may have your man.

The very first figure. If you look at the hat in his hand, you could cut away above the hat band and be left with something that resembles Corky's trademark hat. The face and hair also pass muster, IMHO, and he even has the long coat.

Good luck finding an Andrew, however.

You could also try TVAG, the virtual armchair general website in their B'hoys miniature range. I'm actually not sure if they are heroic 28mm or not? I have only ever seen them online. Maybe someone else can comment on their size. Eddie

Is he really that big? Doesn't seem so to me. I don't recall him hulking more often over others than he's looking up.

Even the linked BBC images include one of him peering up at the letch. I seem to recall him being eye-to-eye with the letch's (SPOILER!) widow, and whats-his-face's son.

I only heard about this series the other which in a tv advert, and now I hear they cancelled it only after two series.Games based on this would fit into the VSF worlds.

Yes, it was a very good series, no idea at all why it was cancelled so soon. It fits well into VSF, die hard Confederates plotting to plant bombs, poison water etc. A Jack the Ripper like killer preying on young boys, etc.

Really? I hadn't heard it was cancelled; I suppose Auntie doesn't factor in those of us who watch via Netflix. Even though I think it DOES add revenue.

I shall cherish the viewings all the more.

Yeh, I was bummed to hear it got cancelled too. Did seem to be straying away from the premise of the show, IE about coppers in New York. Too much on the Doctor, his wife, her mother, political wrong doing, upper class New Yorkers ect.
But I will miss it.

Aw .. I liked it too.. didn't know it was canceled.

But I think the last episode makes more sense now .. it just wasn't about the whole 5 points thing at all and seemed out of place when I watched it… I guess they wanted to wrap up the show with an extra final episode to show why the guys were besties or something like that

They better not take away my Hell on Wheels

oh-no. Life will not be good at my house. All I heard all summer was Kevin this, Kevin that from my wife. It was interesting that there was even a small crossover with hell on wheels. One of the guys after Bohanan was a copper from 5 points and the shows are nearly identical time period (about 2 years apart with a main character as a civil war veteran.)

This sucks, I actually liked the show :-(
