Could you contact me off-list about an early war matter? Thanks, ethan mckinney and then the Google mail domain. (If you can't figure it out, I'll make it clearer. Trying to keep the spam under control

Oh, and I think that it would work well with Rapid Fire. Keep in mind, though, that you need to double the number of infantry/personnel stands, since Command Decision has a full platoon per stand, while Rapid Fire is 15 men. |

We have used Benghazi Handicap to generate Flanes of War scenarios. It is MUCH more than just a "scenario book". |

Do you know that there are two Rapid Fire supplements #8 and #9 for North Africa? I heard a lot of great things about Benghazi Handicap and picked up a copy. From my point of view it is nothing special. You mention that Rapid Fire is your favorite rule set. Command Decision and Rapid Fire are very different games. Using the organizations in this book will require some work on you part to use them for Rapid Fire. You would be better just figuring them out yourself using the actual orders of battle. |

It's a superb reference book to use with any game system. Super for Blitzkrieg Commander, that's for sure. |

I also highly recommend it for any system. I ordered mine from testofbattle.com/catalog and their service was excellent. The book is good value for the money. |

Otto, could you be more specific in your criticisms? |

As above, it is a great reference book and easy enough to convert into RF or any other grand tactical set of rules for that matter. I just ordered direct from the website. |

Italwars states that Rapid Fire is his favorite rule system and I pointed out that there a couple supplements which might better suit his needs. I am happy to have "Benghazi Handicap" in my library but to me it isn't the holy grail. Its got some good general history and model tips but so does a Flames of War book. There is a lot information but it is geared toward Command Decision. To be fair maybe I am not a big fan of Command Decision. Fight a big battle with the little battle feel. What happened to "Decision in the Desert?" I would buy it despite my comments concerning BH. |

What happened to "Decision in the Desert?" I would buy it despite my comments concerning BH. Good question. I am (was?) eagerly awaiting its publication, and can only assume BH didn't sell well enough to justify an early follow up. |
