Ladies and Gentlemen, South Florida Miniatures Gamers ran a 28mm Yorktown Campaign at Hurricon in late September in Orlando. There were four scenarios including Gloucester Point, The Assault on Fusilier's Redoubt, Assault on Redoubts 9 & 10, and Cornwallis' Breakout scenario. We entertained over 30 players during the weekend. The campaign ended with a Continental victory 20-17 Victory Points and was not decided until the final melee roll Saturday night. Enjoy the pics.

There's Bill going in by halves again. Way to hold back! Truly awesome work as usual. And it was even better in person |

Bill; That's magnificent stuff. Your terrain is, of course, spectacular. Hmmm. I recognize those fences too
I like your water effects. White glue? Eric |

Actually, I spray lightly with a black primer which causes the foam to ripple a bit as the thinner based stuff reacts with foam. Then its painted and then coated with acrylic gloss gel several times. |

The pictures are great, but they don't do it justice. |

I agree with Pat. And believe me, given the players response, it played just as good as it looked! |

Great looking game! what rules? |
ACWBill | 09 Oct 2013 10:05 a.m. PST |
My own rules which I wrote in conjunction with my buddy Tim. They are called Saber & Musket. |

Sir, My congratulations. What any convention game should aspire towards. I realize not all can achieve this but all should aspire in this direction. Nicely done – only quibble is a few movement trays and one wagon base without texture but that's being nitpicky in the extreme. Just beautiful. Would love to play in such a game. Are your rules published or just for personal/local use? If latter, are you willing to share? |

Yes, some of non-combatants were contributions from other club members and therefore did not match other basing styles. The movement trays are metal and the bases magnetized so texturing is out. Still trying to design my own more appealing version. |
