Tell me about the Bay of Bengal 1782 ships. Which manufacturer – or are they scratchbuilt? Great looking game. |

Looks like 20th century dominates with a smattering of ACW and Galleys. Any other Age of Sail games? Did you make a paper 80 gunner yet for your range? If I remember last time you didn't have he for your game. |

gaiusrabirius – They're my own, and you can see them here: link dantheman – It changes from year to year, depending on what gamemasters show up and what they feel like presenting, but it does tend to be mostly 20th century. There were no other Age of Sail games this year, but there is usually at least one other. Notably absent this year was Pre-Dreadnoughts, which is usually a popular choice. No, I still don't have an 80-gunner, which is rather embarrassing. I used the 90-gunner as a proxy again. First I get all wrapped up in finishing the Lake Erie ships, and then I get over-excited about starting the Anglo-Dutch ships, and the next thing you know it's time for another con and I still don't have an 80. Too many ships, too little time. Jeff |

Hey guys, It was my group that presented the two WWII NT games. We do usually mix it up with Pre-dreads as I have a rather large collection. My plan next year is to have a Pre-Dread game going as well. I missed the last two years of NAVCON due to a military deployment overlappng so it was easier to focus on one period (WWII) to ensure I had all the rules straight in my head for my first time back since I had not played in some time. When I returned form NAVCON my recent Panzerschiffe order of 50+ Pre-dreads were waiting at home. Soon I will have the entire Spanish and American fleets not just the ships in the battles as well as some other nations. I am thinking some alternate history conflicts with U.S. vs Japan or Germany around the Phillipines might be fun or expanding the SPAN-AM war and balancing out some hypothetical actions so it is not so lopsided might be in order. |
