I am looking for some 15mm figures for a Custer's Last Stand game. I'll be needing about 75 7th Cav and 200 or so Plains Indians figures. Thanks! |

Irregular, Freikorp (is that what QRF has) and Minifigs. |

If I was going to put together a 15mm Plains Indians collection today for the Little Big Horn, I would probably base it on the Blue Moon 15mm/18mm figures and add to it from other lines if I could find pieces of interest. I did my collection more than a decade ago (long before Blue Moon was available). At that time I used Indian figures from Stone Mountain, Yellow Ribbon, and Minifig (the mounted Minifig Plains Indians figures are beautiful if you can find them today). I used Essex and Old Glory 15mm ACW figures for my cavalry. You can see my collection at link |

Nashville, believe it or not, I don't game. For the last 30+plus years I have painted figures that represent periods I enjoy. Once the figures are completed I put them into dioramas and my daughter photographs them for my galleries. Things that are military in nature I do in 15mm and at this point I have more than 30,000 painted 15mm figures. I paint 25mm/28mm for Pulp/Adventure/Gothic
Probably sounds crazy, but its given me more than 30 years of fun. I'm glad you enjoyed the galleries; always feels good to hear that someone thinks I've done good work. Sincerely, thanks for the kind words. Richard |

SJDonovan: Unfortunately, that link is antiquated. I don't believe Minifigs can be had in those quantities any more since the UK version uses different packing scheme. Also, it leaves out some critical information. Doesn't mention the fabulous range from Blue Moon Manufacturing which is a must to look at. Also, both Blue Moon and Irregular are so much bigger than the other ranges they are very not compatible – though the other ranges are good. And so many people forget about the nice little range from Hovels. I rate Hovels and Minifigs as good matches with Freikorps/QRFs yellow ribbon range. Peter Pig has a pretty comprehensive range but on the smaller side and down right diminutive next to Blue Moon and Irregular. However, I have figures from all of these ranges, in many cases at least one of everything. The one range I've never tapped into is the 15mm UK range – afraid a bit too crude for my tastes but some may say that about Irregular (I kind of like there figures – but they are big!) As to which is best for the Custer fight? I'll leave that to the OP to examine the options and make a personally informed decision. |

sorry friends but this figurines came from minifigs usa. a friend of mine take me this figurines 3 years ago . for him this quality is much better than the old version of minifigs old west range. for me the différence resulted by the painting and for the indian it's very hard for the real war painting in this range. sorry for my point of view respect and regard |
