appaloosacollection.blogspot.it Here you have the masters of 4 new poses od bared ponies, 2 gallopping and 2 cantering, suitable for any range including ponies such as Mongols. Aquilifer ( aquilifer.eu ) will start to cast them out due to get an available range from a period of Gengis Kahn up to the battle of Tannemberg, ready for sold likely within December 2013-January 2014. Enjoy my sculpts! For any inquire about sculpting commissions, please contact me at: ccaa82@hotmail.com Thank you! |

Very nice. Could I suggest also that you make variants with more "punky" nearly straight hairs, as Central Asia ponies often have? link |

While I love the period, the horses' animation is not convincing. The legs are neither properly proportioned nor placed in a natural gait. This would stop me from considering the range. Jeff |

Renaud, thank you for your suggestion, the horse in picture is the przevalsky, the primarly bred for asian ponies not used by mongols for war. I prefered to use the bashkir bred with a longer hair (even longer than its normal). Jeff, legs are shorter than a normal horse, they are ponies, whilst gait I cannot figure how they may look not natural. I sculpted them looking at the strides in Muybridge books and I compared my models with the real horse movements in pictures, they are exactly the same. Check for gallopping and cantering gaits if you wish. Thank you and good bye. |
