Just wanted to show the new figures made for me by Mike Broadbent. I commissioned him to make these as I didn't want to use generic Austrians for my Risorgimento armies. Italians will follow eventually as will more Austrians. German Grenadiers are next. Please excuse the ordinary painting – for those interested I will put up some raw figures. Carbine, I think those figures cry out for an ink wash. Anything that gets too dark, just touch it up after the ink dries. That gives you bright highlights and dark shadows and outlines. |
