Couple of decades ago I had a hardback book on 18th century warfare or Vauban sieges that had a final chapter or appendix on a siege game played on a sand table by cadets at Sandhurst. It included a set of rules and photos of a game in action. But now I can't seem to find it, even though I've looked in my Chandler-Duffy-Hughes-Grant type books. Does anyone recognize this description? If so could you identify author and title so I can reacquire it?
Many Thanks

It's Duffy's 'Fire and Stone', the original edition. IIRC i was told that chapter was removed for the reprint…?

It is Duffy's "Fire & Stone". I've the 2006 reprint and the rules are still in it.

Many thanks. I thought it was Duffy, but the edition I own doesn't have it. I'll pick up one that has it.
