Quick question. Are the early WW 1 'Great War Miniatures' Germans & Brits compatable with Renegade's? By compatable I mean generally the same size and over all proportions. Thanks, -Skip |

I can only speak for the late war brits, but the two ranges work very well together even in the same unit. |

yes, the GWar minis don`t have the big hands, they fit together well |

They look different unpainted, but once painted, it is very hard to tell which one is Renegade and which one is Great War. Like noted before, the hands are bigger on the Renegades, but sizewise they are near identical. |

I used GWar for command and personality figs, and Renegade for the troops. Never regretted that choice. |

mine are all in a box and haven't been looked at in a while, but with 2014 just around the corner, hopefully that will change! Couple of things to note (these are for the early war ranges) GW tend to have full equipment and backpacks. Renegade are very nice to paint, however, don't be fooled. They are not really 1914 figures, but 1915. Caps include the SD Cap, with and without wire frame, plus later Gor Blimeys with flaps. Equipment wise there is a mix of webbing and leather (and some 'odd' pieces). It may not worry you, but I did want 1914
