I'm looking for a galvanizer. I've had some success with RTV moulds but I want to move into producing some of my 1/32 fantasy and modern stuff for sale so I'm looking to upgrade. I also want to do a prototype range of the fantasy and sf kits I eventually want to do in plastic. The concept without the front loaded expense as it were.

Also, where do you buy casting metal? I've been using scrap lead, lead free solder, and zinc welding rods but there's got to be a more affordable route. I'm sure if I put the time in I'll figure it out but time's always a valuable commodity.

i think you mean a vulcaniser as a galvaniser covers metal in a zinc finnish and would be unsuitable for miniatures!
are you in the uk?

doh! Yes, a vulcaniser, that might explain why google wasn't much help.

No I'm in Canada.

Check jewellry manufacture suppliers for both. Also a company called Northcott something; near Campbellville Ontario for metal.
