Would like some help on some possible morphs and/or manufacturers for 28mm Russian peasants in the time of Napoleon's retreat from Moscow. Some with muskets some with farm implements. Thank you

Old Glory also has a set of Transylvanian peasants in the Vlad the Impaler line that might work, lots of farm implements: link |

Big NO for OG Cossack or Transilvanian ranges. Wrong period and wrong clothing for 1812. I don't know which range would work, not my period, but any "Russian Militia" or "Opolchenie" from Napoleonic ranges would work better. |

I'm hoping Perry do them for their already marvelous Retreat range. Meanwhile I'm using Perry's Foundry Opelchenie stuff and some from Old Glory's Eastern Rennaissance line. |

Wrong period and wrong clothing for 1812 Because those old bits of cloth tied together with rags was SO last season. Goodness, don't you know anything about serf fashion? |

They do look jolly cross, if not angery! Blimey, we will soon have more Retreat Figures than 1815 if this carries on. They are wonderful though. All this and still not a Gendarme d'Elite, in the range that sets the standard for the others to follow. |

"All this and still not a Gendarme d'Elite
" - nor British ADCs, Rifles with fixed bayonets or Light Infantry skirmishing, not to mention Prussian Reservists in shell jackets or French artillery teams at the halt

Does anyone know of similar in 15mm? I'm thinking of have these type guys jump out of a bunch of bushes onto the French. |

1968billsfan Minifigs do both male and female partisans in their 15mm Russian Napoleonic line but a lot of them are armed with muskets rather than improvised weapons: link
