Man, they really have changed the look and feel of the Yahoo groups. I can't figure out how to access the files. And I run a Yahoo group. Sigh. |

Go to the group's page, and underneath the "header" photo (if it has one) there's a list of headings – Conversations Photos Events Polls More. Files are a drop-down if you click on More. Dom. (Not keen on the changes, but slowly getting used to them – it's much easier to read messages on the site than before, but I'm not impressed by the search changes

Photo album access is horrible. If you click on albums it just seems to display random photos. |

Many of the groups are totally non-functional for some or all of the members. I'm pretty much giving up on all mine – can't post, can't see files or photos, and yahoo can't explain or fix the problem. |

I've dumped all of mine that I was only slightly interested in or consistantly had a low posting count. |

It's not been good. The local club related ones are looking at moving to Googlegroups now. |

Well, I found a solution. I use Firefox. There has been an add on created that reverts your Yahoo Groups to their previous format. I have run Malwarebytes and AVG on it and it's ok. It works perfectly. Been using it for a week or two now. link |

Thank you, Dom. I managed to change the header photo from baseballs to a picture of Marshall Villars at Denain, not quite as nice looking as it used to be. |

I had to go in through Google, since IE8 wouldn't work for me any more. Works okay, but is a hassle, and I much prefer the older format, as it seems do most of the people posting to complain about the "upgrade", which isn't. Yahoo has posted a note, saying basically you luddites like me need to get stuffed, since they aren't going back to the older format, and there is no "opt out" option, sadly. Perhaps they want to divest themselves of Groups users. Seems like that's what they are aiming for to me. |

I'm pretty much giving up on all mine – can't post, can't see files or photos, and yahoo can't explain or fix the problem. I don't know what all the fuss is about. I am using Firefox and I can see Files (it is in the drop down menu under "More") and Photos. Posting is easy – just scroll to the bottom of a conversation and click on "Add to this conversation". Photo album access is horrible. If you click on albums it just seems to display random photos. They appear to be displayed in date order, most recent first. |

I try starting a "conversation" and there is no spot to type in! |
